Jesse & Joy are a Brother/sister duo from Mexico. A few years ago they had a huge hit with the wonderful "Corre". This year their hit is even better. I love this song.
Nuestro Pacto - Lücky Dückes
Lücky Dückes is a young pop/rock group from Cieza in the south-eastern Murcia region of Spain. This is a group I think can be really big in a few years. They make some really nice tunes, have a charismatic singer with a great voice and after seeing them live just a few days ago I must say they have are great live too. I really hope for them to be a big success. They are great, friendly guys.
Los manos, el calor y Sakamoto - Nereida Fau
Nereida Fau is a Barcelona based group namned after their singer, Nereida Fau. I am a bit uncertain if they still play together as their Facebook hasn´t been updated for a year and their webpage has closed down. I know there has been som trouble within the singer´s family and I hope they will start producing new music again. They have three albums to their name and this is my big favourite of all their songs. The video are excerpts from the video Weg zum Nachborn, a fascinating short film.
Soy viento, soy Fuego - Nunatak
Nunatak is another group from the Murciaregion. Like so many spanish groups, Nunatak also has a great singer. His voice, the melodies they have in the songs and the use of non-classical rock instruments like trumpets etc. have made Nunatak one of my favourites. I had the pleasure to see them live and to meet them this summer and they are great guys I also hope will succeed.
Rolling Thunder - Rob DeLion
Rob Delion is Spanish singer who sings in English. His album with the same name as this track includes many strong songs, This is one of them, but the softer "Lie to me" is one of my favourite songs of any songs at this moment, That one is not available on Youtube, but you can hear it on Spotify.
